SavourLife gives 50% of its profits to pet rescue, working toward one goal: reducing the number of adoptable dogs euthanised in Australia to zero. Passing $10 million in donations was the moment to step back: so rather than celebrating the number, the campaign handed the microphone to the rescue partners themselves, asking them to share their “why”: what gives them the strength to keep working in such challenging, and often heartbreaking, environments.
I led the concept and art direction end to end, directed the interviews, photography and on-screen talent, and managed the project from brief through to delivered assets across film, social and retail, a series of films in which rescue partners tell their own stories and share their hopes for the future.
Those funds have helped rescue partners with veterinary care, food, transport, training, shelter improvements, desexing programs, community vet care and education: helping dogs across Australia get adopted, or stay with the people who love them.
